Mám mašinu A do ktorej nahrám klasicky boot image (x86 aj x64), a inštalačku unattended sedmičky (ktorá sa bude deployovať na cca 70 strojov), potiaľto nie je problém, problém nastáva, či je možné z bežného ISO súboru (povedzme že chcem bootovať cez PXE napr. acronis) urobiť WIM, a podhodiť mu to, alebo WDS je čisto iba na deployovanie Winov, riešil to niekto?

WDS contains the ability to deploy other operating systems such as Windows PE, Windows XP, and Windows 2000, but the installation of these operating systems cannot be performed with source files or controlled with unattended scripts. The unsupported operating system to be deployed must first be installed and configured on a workstation; an image of the finished operating system configuration is then captured with the Windows Automated Installation Kit, and this captured image can be deployed through WDS.
S kolegom sme to riesili , ak sa ti podari dostat image do WIM tak to pojde...
nam sa to zatial nepodarilo...

image do WIM dostaneš cez imagex ktorý je súčasťou WAIKu, v tej definícii je asi chyba, lebo WDS už od 2k8 podporuje unattended installation a dokonca aj installation capturing.
